ProVal & Sequel were an easy choice for Bolton at Home!
Set up in 2002 as the Arms Length Management Organisation for Bolton Council, Bolton at Home now owns the council's 18,000 homes. Over the next five years they will deliver £124m of improvements to these homes and estates. In partnership with Bolton Council and numerous agencies, they also work to improve social and economic conditions of the estates where social houses are located and other disadvantaged areas in the Bolton borough.
Along with taking ownership of the homes last year came the task of setting up their own development processes. Their previous partner, Great Places, already used both ProVal and Sequel and immediately recommended Bolton at Home do the same. The systems therefore came highly recommended - so much so, there was no need to look elsewhere!
ProVal was installed at the beginning of last year and Sequel followed earlier this year. ProVal is being used across all developments, which are currently Right to Buy buyback properties. The development team at Bolton at Home say that ProVal is particularly useful in providing the ability to model different assumptions and test the viability of different development proposals.
There are plans to move into new-build later in the year, which will increase their use of Sequel alongside ProVal.
