SDS ProVal - General Needs

Course Information

This half-day course is designed to introduce delegates to the concepts and functionality of the SDS ProVal General Needs module.

Delegates will be able to use SDS ProVal efficiently and confidently by creating appraisals encompassing straightforward development schemes for rent.

Pre-requisites

Those attending this course should have a basic understanding of development and of the appraisal process, and be comfortable with using a mouse.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Basic understanding of the key appraisal outputs
  • Save and print the appraisal

  • Methods of entering the data
  • Copying and pasting in ProVal
  • Creating a new appraisal
  • Opening existing appraisal
  • Saving as a new version
  • Review of the ancillary reports
  • Doing a quick appraisal
  • Understanding target rent calculations and rent caps
  • Setting allowances & inflation
  • Understanding the different ways of repaying the loan
  • Basic understanding of the results
